Releasing Stress with Sound
The Sigh of Relief is a simple two-minute breathing exercise designed to help the body and mind release tension. Using a gentle inhale followed by an audible sigh such as “ah,” this practice encourages relaxation, helps let go of built-up stress, and creates a sense of emotional release. It is especially helpful when someone is feeling overwhelmed, tense, irritated, or mentally cluttered. Think of it as giving your nervous system permission to unclench a little.
