OMA Life is a culturally grounded mental wellness app designed to support the emotional and psychological well-being of BIPOC communities. Rooted in the meaning of “good life” or “beautiful life” in Igbo, OMA Life offers a safe, empowering space for users to reconnect with themselves, access culturally relevant resources, and build sustainable wellness habits—on their own terms.
OMA Life was officially unveiled on World Health Day, during a powerful community-led launch event titled “Breaking Barriers: How Tech is Revolutionizing BIPOC Mental Wellness.” The name OMA Life was chosen by community members themselves—a reflection of their hopes, cultural pride, and vision for a wellness platform that speaks directly to their lived realities.
The event brought together change-makers, health professionals, creatives, and everyday users to celebrate the launch and co-create the future of culturally rooted mental health care. With the support of organizations like Nobellum and LBIH, the launch marked a bold new chapter in wellness innovation.
OMA Life isn’t just about surviving—it’s about reclaiming joy, rest, and self-connection in a world that often overlooks our stories. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, or simply seeking daily balance, OMA Life meets you where you are—with tools that honour who you are.
